Starting at a base price of INR 30 lakh, Delhi Capitals pipped Mumbai Indians to pick Alice Capsey in the inaugural TATA WPL auction. On the same day, Capsey hit the joint-fastest fifty in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup off just 21 balls. Touted as a future superstar at a very young age, Capsey made her international debut before her 18th birthday. An aggressive batter, the 20-year-old is already a mainstay of England's limited-overs set-up. Capsey impressed one and all with her all-round efforts in the first two seasons of the WPL.
