24-year-old, Amelia Kerr, is a talented all-rounder from New Zealand who is well known for her contributions with both bat and ball. Mumbai Indians won a bidding war for her and acquired the services of the Kiwi all-rounder for INR 1 crore in the inaugural WPL season. Since then she has had two fabulous seasons with the franchise after finishing as the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament in 2024 and as MI’s second highest run-scorer in 2024. Kerr will be coming into season 3 with form along her way as she was part of the Kiwi team that won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024 and also was named ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2024.
