The Australian wicketkeeper-batter has an enviable T20I record, having scored over 2200 runs, with the help of 2 hundreds and 16 fifties from 81 T20Is. Mooney - the 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medallist – was all set to lead GG but suffered a calf injury in the first season and could feature only in one game. Her unfortunate injury had a major impact on GG’s overall campaign as they finished last in the points table.
