Bought at a base proce of INR 10 lakhs, 21-year-old, Jintimani Kalita, made the entire state of Assam proud when she became the first player from the state to be bought at the inaugural WPL auction. Jintimani is an all-rounder who has previously played for the Assam Senior Team as a left-handed batter who bowls right-arm medium fast too. She also featured in the India-A team against England-A which toured in 2023. The Assam all-rounder will be eagerly waiting to leave a mark at the biggest stage and her experience of sharing the dressing room with some of the best will be of immense weightage in her career.
