Born on December 25, 2003, Jintimani Kalita became the first player from Assam to be bought at the inaugural WPL auction. The Mumbai Indians spent INR 10 Lakhs to get Kalita in their squad. Jintimani is an all-rounder who has previously played for the Assam Senior Team and India B in the Under-19 Women's Challenger Trophy in 2021. She is a left-handed batter and bowls right-arm medium fast and the Assam all-rounder will be aiming to make the most of her opportunities for the Mumbai Indians at the big stage.
