Still only 25 years old, Laura Wolvaardt is a veteran of more than 180 international games and is already a South African cricketing great. After coming in as an injury replacement for Beth Mooney in the inaugural WPL season, Wolvaardt has scored 310 runs in just 10 games for GG at a SR of 134.19. Along with her match-winning capabilities at the top of the order, Wolvaardt also provides value as a leader and captained South Africa to the Women's T20 World Cup final in 2024. She is back in the WPL after a higly consistent 2024 for South Africa.
