Lauren Bell was acquired for her base price of INR 30 lakh by the UP Warriorz at the first-ever WPL auction. Bell brings aggression and youthful energy to the UP Warriorz' pace department. The youngster can swing the ball both ways and that is her major strength. She has the ability to take wickets early on and set the tone. The 22-year-old has impressed in her nascent T20I career so far, picking up 12 wickets from 9 innings at 15.58 and economy rate of 6.23, including one four-wicket haul. She will be looking to impress on the big stage and gain more experience by rubbing shoulders with the likes of Shabnim Ismail, captain Alyssa Healy and her English teammate Sophie Ecclestone.
