Minnu Mani had an impressive outing in the 2023 Senior Women's One Day Trophy, scoring 246 runs from 8 matches at an average of 41 and picking up 12 wickets at 16.75 and an economy rate of 3.79. What followed was a WPL contract with DC, making her the first Kerala player to achieve that. An athletic fielder as well, Mani is also the first woman from Kerala to play a T20I for India. The 25-year-old, who made her ODI debut shortly before TATA WPL 2025, was also part of the Indian squad that won their maiden Asian Games gold medal.
