N. Charani was among the most sought after players in the TATA WPL 2025 auction. Starting at a base price of INR 10 lakh, the Delhi Capitals eventually picked up the uncapped Indian player for INR 55 lakh by outbidding the Mumbai Indians. Charani is known for her left-arm orthodox spin bowling, but can contribute with the bat as well. Joining a team filled with some of the world's best all-rounders, the Andhra player can benefit greatly from her maiden WPL experience.
