Fresh off winning the U19 Women's World Cup in Malaysia , MI picked 19-year-old Indian spinner Parunika Sisodia as a replacement for the injured Pooja Vastrakar for TATA WPL 2025. With 10 wickets in six matches, including a player-of-the-match winning 3/21 in the semi-final against England and 2/6 vs SA in the final, the left-arm spinner was one of the stars of India's campaign. The 2025 season won't be Sisodia's first taste of the TATA WPL though, having been picked by Gujarat Giants in WPL 2023.
