Born on May 9, 1994, Poonam Khemnar is a top all-rounder from Maharashtra, excelling as a right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler. She became the first female cricketer to score a century for Nagaland in the Women's Senior One Day Trophy, smashing 105 runs with nine fours and seven sixes in a match-winning effort against Manipur. Picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore in the inaugural WPL auction for INR 10 lakh, she was later acquired by UP Warriorz for the same amount at the TATA WPL 2024 Auction and now after being retained by UPW for season 3, Poonam is all set to light up the field with her brilliance.
