Born on October 08, 1995, Saika Ishaque is a slow-left-arm bowler from Kolkata, Bengal. Saika started playing cricket during her childhood and went on to play for Under-16 and Under-23 Bengal teams. She was also a part of the winning team of the BCCI Under-23 Women's One Day Trophy. While Saika has always been impressive with the ball, she also has the ability to play impactful cameos under pressure. The Mumbai Indians recognised the value that Saika adds to a quality T20I side and got the left-arm bowler for INR 10 Lakhs at the inaugural WPL auction. Ishaque shone on the big stage in the first season, finishing as the joint second-highest wicket-taker in the tournament. Ishaque also adds depth to MI's batting order and the left-hander will be eyeing making an impact with both bat and ball again.
