Sneha Deepthi was acquired for INR 30 lakhs (base price) by Delhi Capitals in the inaugural WPL auction. A right-handed middle-order batter for Andhra Pradesh in the domestic circuit, Sneha had an impressive run in the 2022 Senior Women's T20 Trophy, scoring 133 runs at 26.60 and SR of 120.90. She scored 114 runs from 5 matches at 22.80 and SR of 162.85 in the 2022 Senior Women's Inter Zonal T20 tournament. At the age of 16 years and 204 days, she became India's youngest debutant when she made her T20I debut in 2013 vs Bangladesh at Vadodara. Shafali Verma later overtook her as the youngest at 15 years and 240 days. She would be looking to gain vital experience by rubbing shoulders with the best in the business in the WPL.
