Born on July 18, 2007, Sonam Yadav hails from Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. Sonam, who is just fifteen years old, is a slow-left-arm bowler. Sonam's bowling variations are inspired from none other than Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja. After her impressive domestic performances for Uttar Pradesh, Sonam was named in India's squad for the U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2023. She was economical with the ball throughout the tournament and her timely strikes contributed to a historic feat as India were crowned champions of the inaugural edition of the tournament. The left-arm-spinner now has an opportunity to excel further after the Mumbai Indians added her to their star-studded line-up. The MI fans will be rooting for the young and promising star to extend her winning streak by playing amongst the best cricket players in the world.
