Australian spin bowling all-rounder Sophie Molineux was picked by the RCB for INR 30 lakh at the WPL Player Auction. Sophie made her debut for Australia in 2018 and has since played 27 T20Is for Australia. She last featured for her country in 2021 and thereafter was sidelined from the squad due to an ACL injury. After 12 months of rehab and strength work, Sophie returned to playing and has recently been recalled to Australia's Test squad to face South Africa at the WACA. Sophie is all set to play for RCB in the 2024 edition of the league.
