Tanuja Kanwer bagged a contract of INR 50 lakh at the inaugural TATA WPL auction, which was more than what some international cricketers like Heather Knight and Hayley Matthews earned at the time. While she picked up just five wickets in the first season, she doubled that tally in 2024, and the left-arm spinner has been a regular at GG. Having also made her T20I and ODI debuts since then, a more confident Kanwer could be key to GG's success in 2025.
