Titas Sadhu was bought for INR 25 lakh by the Delhi Capitals in the inaugural WPL auction. The 18-year-old sprung into the limelight in the first-ever ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup with her impressive performances. She claimed six wickets from six matches at 12.83 and possessed an economy rate of 4.27. Her moment in the tournament came on the big stage in the final against England, where she set the platform with two early wickets and returned with figures of 4-0-6-2 which earned her the Player of the Match award. She can generate good pace and swing the ball both ways with the inswinger being her deadliest weapon. She can generate extra bounce as well. She shone on her India debut with an excellent spell on 1/10 from four overs against Bangladesh at the Asian Games in September 2023 and was a part of the Indian squad that won their maiden gold medal at the Asian Games in Hangzhou. The young pacer would be looking to further gain some valuable experience in the league by rubbing shoulders with some of the greats of the game and make an impact.
