Vrinda Dinesh made it big at the TATA WPL 2024 Auction, securing a massive INR 1.3 crore deal with UP Warriorz, making her the second-most expensive player of the auction. Unfortunately, she was ruled out of the league after just two appearances due to an injury. An aggressive top-order batter, she gained recognition after a crucial 29-ball 36 against Bangladesh in the ACC Women's Emerging Teams Cup final, helping India lift the trophy. A consistent performer for Karnataka, she was their highest run-getter in the 2021-22 (348 runs) and 2022-23 (477 runs) Senior Women's One Day Trophy. She also impressed in the 2023-24 Senior Women's T20 Trophy with 211 runs at a strike rate of 154.01. Having retained by UPW, Vrinda will now look to start fresh in her second season with an aim to make an impact.
