A bright impressive wicketkeeper-batter, Yastika Bhatia, was bought by the Mumbai Indians for INR 1.50 Crore in the inaugural WPL auction. Yastika’s contributions at the top of the order has proven to be very useful for the Indian team too, where she has made her debut in all three formats. Her brisk starts backed with a solid technique helped MI to get fiery starts in the last seasons. She was MI’s third highest run-scorer with 204 runs in WPL 2024. MI will be aiming to make the most out of her batting abilities this year too in their quest for their second WPL title.
